The term franchise is used casually in many ways. In sports, you might hear someone say "The Yankees are a great/horrible franchise." In business, you might hear the term franchise used interchangeably with "brand". For example, Starbucks might be referred to as a "coffee franchise".
Officially, a franchise is a strictly regulated business practice (regulated by the FTC and at the state level). Franchises are all around, one of the first and largest franchises of note is Dunkin' Donuts.

You're a partner, not a franchisee.

The franchisee (you) pays the franchisor an up-front franchise fee.

You pay nothing!

The franchisee signs a 5-20 year franchise agreement

You participate when you want, and can stop anytime. Total flexibility.

The Franchisee opens a branded store, and operates under the Franchise trademark.

You operate under your own existing restaurant business name (Ex: Joe's Cafe). Your business is simply a pick-up location for The Deep when you choose to make pizza.

Step 2: Sign our simple to understand partner agreement.
Step 3: Order necessary ingredients and packaging.
Step 4: Learn to make the best Deep Dish via our online training!
Step 5: We send you a free tablet to accept orders, which puts you in control of when you make deep dish pizza!
What Equipment Do I Need?
A great aspect of becoming a partner with The Deep is the minimal equipment requirements.
-Existing restaurant with all licensing
-Oven large enough to cook several pizzas
-Refrigerator / Freezer
-Stove / Cooktop
-Prep surface
-Pans: 12x12x2 and 6x6x2
-Large stock pot
-Measuring Cups and Spoons
-Plastic storage containers
-Knife, Mandolin, Pan holder, Pizza Cutter, General Utensils
